Parnassus
Local stone was used to build these two-storey vacation houses in the foot of Parnassus mountain. The buildings are constructed for multiple clients, using traditional techniques and materials such as rounded timber as the main elements of the roof, load-bearing masonry walls and exposed stone inside the whole of the house.
I undertook the architectural and structural design of the houses, which entailed an intermediate RC slab for added stiffness in a seismogenic area of Greece. The construction and supervision was also part of my involvement in this development.
