Folegandros
This beautiful series of almost identical, two-storey, vacation houses were built in a hilly part of the island with unconditional view of the Aegean sea.

The development was a built-for-rent case, with the client wanting to establish a non-aggressive, traditional Cycladic architecture, complex of houses for families. Every house reveals its own character, with recesses on walls, timber stairs, open spaces and unexpected uses for everyday objects and structural elements.

I structurally designed all the houses of the development, which are formed with load bearing, masonry walls, timber roofs and floors and the iconic white-washed render of the Cycladic built environment.
